First Snow

The First Snow of 2003 in southeastern Pennsylvania quickly became one of many, many snows! It was one of the snowiest winters on record, and I'm glad I took the time to document a tiny part of that blanketed universe, a patch of weeds I could see from a window in my home. The slate-gray Junco----also called a "snowbird"----seems, in retrospect, the perfect addition to this tiny landscape.
