Fall Harvest

Bittersweet grows rampant over a corner of my backyard, and I delight in watching the fruits change from tightly-closed golden balls to ripe, open, inviting crimson and gold fruits. Not just me-----the Tufted Titmouse also had his eye on the bittersweet! This small painting has a compelling simplicity of composition and an interesting color palette. I find it both relaxing and visually exciting.
