March Snow - Cardinal
![]() |
I live in Southeast Pennsylvania, where a snowfall in March can catch some early-following species already in full springtime bloom. Here a male Cardinal rides out the snow at the tips of the branches of a Red Maple that has flowers, but as yet no leaves. This small painting is part of a pair, with its companion piece being March Snow - Chickadees
