Baltimore Oriole & Rhododendron
![]() |
Few birds in North America are as readily identified, and as strikingly beautiful, as the male Baltimore Oriole. Wintering in southern Mexico and further south, their arrival in their breeding range is one of the avian highlights of spring-assuming you are fortunate enough to see one! Look up, for they are birds of the tree canopy, or try a special feeder, offering mealworms and the sugar syrup and jelly they love.
