Walking Bridge - Lumberville, PA

The Walking Bridge that crosses the Delaware River and connects Lumberville, PA to Bull's Island, NJ is a wonderful, romantic subject for any painter. In this version I choose to include the Delaware Canal and a few pedestrians enjoying the beautiful October weather. I really can't say how many times I've painted this bridge, or guess how many more times I'll set up an easel beside it, but I can say that it's a subject of which I will never grow tired.
