Light and Color

A garden at the height of summer is all about Light and Color, and so is this rich tapestry of a painting, my tribute to the great pleasure and spiritual connection with nature I find in my garden. Zinnias, cosmos, bergamot and cleome are providing ample food resources for a Tiger Swallowtail butterfly, and I feel to heat of the sunlight and the almost-dizzying abundance of beauty whenever I look at this piece--even on the darkest of winter days!
