The Meadow - Solstice Dawn

I’ve grown very fond of a small local park near where I live that is the perfect place for us to take our dogs for relaxing walks. On the morning of the Solstice, however, I showed up with a sketch book and camera instead of dogs and waited for the sun to just crest the horizon, lighting up the freshly-fallen snow with a warm glow. Someone had already made a trail through the snow, however, leaving a welcome albeit vestigial path on a very cold morning.
